One more FGIM meeting down and many more to come! If you have never been on a FGIM field trip, they are chocked full of learning about the industrial minerals industry, from the geology of how the ore was created right down to the best mining practices in regards to efficiency, environmental concerns and the end user. There are also always chances to expand that ever growing rock & mineral collection!

We had a great time and what amazing field trips we had!  If you would like to reminisce on all we saw or learn about what we saw, see the Field Trip Guidebook link of the Industrial Minerals Mining and Geology of the Royal Gorge Region –>[Field Trip Guide Book].
